Since the beginning of this week, Serena has now relocated from her home studio to take up residence, full time in the gallery. Consequently we have just completed our first joint project which is now available to customers free of charge.
We have created a street map of the town incorporating some of the more popular attractions, using Serena’s photographic artwork and Mike’s graphic design. It’s a good way to have our promotional flyer on one side and the map on the other and not only tell people where we are but also provide some useful tourist tips to our visitors.
We will keep you up to date with the latest projects as and when they happen. In the meantime, please pop down and pick up your free copy any time.
Following on from our last post, we thought we’d remind you that Serena also offers a glass art commission service. Below are just the two latest pieces that we have been asked to create for clients…
Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday or just something for yourself, Serena will be able to help design a work to suit. We now have table lamps as well as vases which can be commissioned so please get in touch if you would like more information.
Serena is offering a bespoke commission service in which she will produce an original artwork of your house, car or pet utilising her photographic art techniques.
Working from your original photograph, the piece will be created in a style to suit your individual requirements.
Once the final work has been approved it can be reproduced as either a mounted print or a canvas in a range of sizes depending on your budget or wall space.
We have recently put the piece below on an 18″ x 14″ canvas for a customer who wanted her lovely little scotty on a narrowboat picture. She brought in a photo of her pet and Serena used that and one of her original photos of a narrowboat to create the artwork…
We can also offer this service to businesses, restaurants etc, who would like to theme or personalise their decor. If this is something that would interest you then please get in touch. We can even arrange to supply you with the artwork free of charge in exchange for you making it available to purchase by your customers.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Over the coming weeks you will notice some work being done on the Pillbox next to Barton Bridge, just across from the Bradford Rowing Club.
As part of the Preservation Trust’s work in Bradford on Avon, they are clearing the area around the pillbox and creating a path and information lectern to promote this well known local site. We at SerenArts Gallery have been commissioned by the Trust to do the artwork for the lectern, which will be completed and installed soon.
It’s always nice to see areas around the Tithebarn Workshops being regenerated bringing in extra visitors and hopefully, with the new Dunkirk film out now, there will be additional interest in this historic building.
We are very pleased to be able to help out local artists and businesses with their printing requirements and although it’s only August we have just produced our first calendar order for local artist Roger Croome…
Roger paints a range of watercolour scenes inspired by the work of Edward Wesson amongst other artists and we create his calendars, Christmas cards and stationary each year.
If you would like more information about our printing services please feel free to contact us at any time.
The lamps have landed!…
Serena has just finished the first collection of glass art table lamps and they are available at SerenArts Gallery at just £25 each. These beautiful lamps are all hand painted and proved incredibly popular when we last did them a few years back. We have had trouble getting the blanks in since then, so are very pleased to be able to offer them once more.
Serena is able to take commissions for special occasions and colour schemes so why not pop down to see the current range soon.
We are also putting the finishing touches to the refurbishment of the gallery and will be posting a few more pictures over the next couple of days…
This is the latest window to be completed promoting Serena’s glass art work.
We look forward to seeing everyone soon and happy summer holidays to all those breaking up today!
Coo… what a palaver!
Well haven’t we had fun and shenanigans since Sunday evening? We had one of those big ideas to revamp the gallery and here we are… it’s Wednesday and still the floor isn’t dry! Still, it’s nothing that a few well placed rugs hasn’t resolved.
It’s been a couple of days of hard graft, but we now have a completely new collection of photographic art adorning the walls, beautiful new window displays (please don’t ask about the origami birds though!) and a lovely bright new floor.
You might also notice from the photos above that we will shortly be offering our unique range of glass art lamps again. We’re very excited about these as it’s been a few years since we’ve been able to get the blank lamps.
We hope to see everyone down here at the Tithebarn Workshops soon.
